Ezumi Harzani is a member of the Focus Group in Dealing with Construction Permit (FGDCP) formed under PEMUDAH since 2012 and a Board Member of both the Board of Architects Malaysia and Board of Engineers Malaysia. He was recently re-elected as the President of Pertubuhan Akitek Malaysia (PAM) for year 2020-2021 term after completion of his presidency for 2017-2019 term.

In architecture practice, he is a Director at Arkitek MAA Sdn Bhd, one of the larger architecture practices and a winner of various awards including PAM Architecture Awards, CNBC Asia Pacific Property Award, MIP Excellence in Planning Awards and BCI Asia Top 10 Architects Awards. In his career with Arkitek MAA, he led the implementation of many projects, including hospitals, apartments, offices and hotels.

He is also the recipient of the Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA) President’s Medal in 2019. He graduated with Bachelor Degree in Housing Building and Planning and Bachelor of Architecture from University of Science Malaysia; and Master of Philosophy (Policy Studies) from University of Technology Malaysia.

With an extensive background and credentials in valuation as well as surveying, Dato’ Sr. Lau Wai Seang brings with her a wealth of expertise, which has made her an asset in the realm of real estate. Pulling double duty as the President of the Royal Institution of Surveyors Malaysia (RISM) as well as the Regional President of Asia, Commonwealth Association of Surveying and Land Economy (CASLE), she has also held many State Valuation Director posts over the course of her career. She has presented many papers and chaired various sessions on the subject, both locally and abroad. She is also the Chairman of Ian Scott International (M), a valuation firm franchised from Ian Scott International UK.

A graduate of University of Glamorgan, United Kingdom, Sr Adzman Shah Mohd Ariffin is a registered Valuer, Estate Agent and Property Manager registered with the Board of Valuers, Appraiser and Estate Agents as well as Chartered Surveyor accredited by the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors, United Kingdom.

Sr Adzman Shah has extensive experience in the property management industry and has been involved in the management of shopping centres, hyper malls, office complexes and condominiums. He started his career in Cardiff, United Kingdom before returning to Malaysia. Since then, he has worked for public listed and multi-national companies, international real estate consultancy firms and real estate investment trust (REIT) where he held various key positions.

As the Chairman of Ho Chin Soon Research Sdn Bhd, a property information company that specializes in land use and ownership maps, 3D Augmented Reality Maps, aerial photography and customized real estate reports, Ho Chin Soon is a well-established professional in Malaysian real estate. A registered valuer with the Board of Valuers, Appraisers & Estate Agents, Malaysia, he is not only a map maker, author and a fellow of the Royal Institution of Surveyors but also the founder of the iAuthors Club, an entity registered with the Registrar of Societies, Malaysia.

A graduate from the Indiana University, Bloomington USA in BSc of Urban Affairs & Community Development, Ihsan has over 25 years’ experience as an Urban Planner. His work in the field has firmly established him as one of the leading figures in Urban Planning and Design in the country. Today, he manages his own practice as Principal of IZM Consult and he is also currently involved in research planning for Kuala Kangsar District 2010-2020 and the Perlis State Government study plan 2009 – 2030, centred on developing tourism, management, implementation and land use.

With almost three decades of experience as a Professional Architect, Chan Seong Aun has amassed an impressive portfolio of designing high rise condominiums, hotels, resorts, malls and housing projects here in Malaysia. Sustainability Design for Architecture and Green Buildings is an area of speciality for the Principal Architect of Arkitek Daya Seni Sdn Bhd. To date, he not only stands as one of the industry’s most qualified Green Mark Manager and GBI facilitator but he has also honed his expertise in helping to train future talents in this important field of work.

Dr. Suhardi Maulan is an Associate Professor at the Faculty of Design and Architecture, Universiti Putra Malaysia. He received a Diploma in Landscape Design in 1992 from Universiti Teknologi MARA, and later in 1997, he was conferred a Bachelor in Landscape Architecture from Louisiana State University, Baton Rouge, USA.

He obtained a Master of Landscape Architecture in 2002 and later a Doctor of Philosophy (Environmental Design and Planning) in 2006, both from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University, Blacksburg, USA.

Dr. Suhardi teaches subjects related to history and theory of design, landscape architecture as well as quantitative data analysis. His research interests include people’s interaction with the built environment to support sustainable development especially on visual quality assessment, behavioural analysis and post-occupancy evaluations.

A holder of a MBA from University of Bath, UK and a BSc Hons degree in Mechanical Engineering. Ong is a Professional Engineer with a Practicing Certificate (PEng.PC) and is also an ASEAN Chartered Professional Engineer. As the Managing Director of Cofreth (M) Sdn Bhd, he has been instrumental in the company’s successful accreditation of five ISOs in Quality, OHSAS, Environmental, Energy Management and Facility Management System. Under his leadership Cofreth has also garnered numerous awards over the years including five Frost & Sullivan Excellent Awards on Facilities Management and Green Services and a BrandLaureate Award on Corporate Branding for Industrial Facilities Management. Ong is also currently the In-coming President of IEM (Institution of Engineers, Malaysia).

Practiced law for more than 30 years in the UK, Malaysia and Singapore. He was called to the Bar of England and Wales in 1986 by the Honourable Society of Lincoln’s Inn. His practice includes corporate advisory, real estate, offshore trusts and assets protection, immigration law, legal residence and citizenship practice.

He writes regularly for magazines and other foreign publications and has been invited to speak at various conferences and seminars both locally and abroad on diverse topics ranging from retirement and relocation, to cross-border investments. Matthew is the founding partner and currently a consultant of Yeoh Mazlina & Partners in Malaysia, and a consultant of Aquinas Law Alliance in Singapore. Both are established full service law practices. He is also one of the founding members of the ASEAN LEGAL ALLIANCE, a cross-border platform for international investment, trade, private wealth management and real estate.
