Through improved user experience, we’re able to chart the buying intent of property seekers – the more insights we gather, the better we can match them with offerings from the property developers. And with each successful match, it leads to retention of existing users as well as acquisition of new users.
In 2019, we introduced several upgrades and new features on iProperty.com.my. Below is an overview of those improvements.
Reach out to audience in Mainland China via myfun.com
myfun.com extends the exposure of Malaysian properties to a wider audience out of Malaysia. One of the benefits of being listed on myfun.com includes access to its Leads Verification Team who helps to screen the enquiries before passing on any leads to the relevant property developers in Malaysia. Currently only our Platinum Listing customers has access to myfun.com.
A more compact Search Results page
Homebuyers nowadays prefer to find information in lesser clicks or strolls, and in view of that, we’ve upgraded the Search Results page, which is more compact and concise for browsing. The features are designed with the objective of converting impressions to pageviews, and encouraging more visits to the Profile Detail Page (PDP), which houses all the information of a listing and enquiry form. In addition, photos on moving carousel are made available on Search Results page, which will boost user engagement and generate higher interest to know more about the property.
Loan eligibility check via LoanCare
Often home buyers are not aware of their loan eligibility until after they’ve applied for one. Imagine the disappointment of not being able to secure a loan after finding your perfect home. Hence why we’ve introduced LoanCare, a free and simple tool that allows users to compare and calculate their home loan eligibility instantly with up to 17 banks. Not only they can find out ahead of time their loan eligibility, they can also find out which home loan best matches their needs. LoanCare is saving a hopeful property purchaser the hassle of submitting relevant documents for a loan only to be rejected.
Search by Points of interest (POI)
Property seekers are not only looking for location, they are also looking for livability. This includes amenities around the neighbourhood like schools, hospitals and public transportation options. Our website now features integrated map that offers our users a view of transportation system, education and medical facilities in the vicinity that are within 3km radius from the location of the property. Users also have a search filter option that specifically look for property listings around train stations such as LRT, MRT, KTM, Monorail and ERL. This new feature allows the property listings on our website to gain more exposure with POI that are relevant to the property seekers.
Dual Language
iProperty.com.my is the first online property site to have Bahasa Malaysia as a language option, which makes it easier for this group of audience to search our property listings. Since the launch of this language option, we have received very encouraging response from our users who prefer to use Bahasa Malaysia as a medium.
